His Word

I have a confession to make. I do not always enjoy or look forward to my Bible time. I get bogged down in those lists of names and places that carry no meaning to me and I get easily disgusted by all the sins people commit. In my head, I know that it is all there for a reason, but it doesn't make it anymore enjoyable to me.

There are other times though that I can't wait to read more, to find those treasure that God has hidden for me. Yesterday, I found it hard to put my Bible down and go to bed even though it was late and I was very tired. I was reading in my favorite book in the Bible, 1 Peter and it just encouraged me so much that it was hard to put it down.
