V is for Vision

4:17 PM

I have big plans and dreams for the future of my writing. Here are some of those things
~ To complete the Tales of Taelis series (which will be 25 books long).
~ To publish the Kate’s Case Files series (an 11 book series)
~ To write and publish a book about Quint’s early years
~ To publish several short stories every year
~ To have each book have a valuable lesson of faith embedded in the story
~ Not to publish anything that would fail to bring glory to God

The vision and dreams I have are very important to me. I love sharing my passion for stories with others, and that is why today, I am going to be giving away, to one lucky person, my short story bundle. This isn’t just a bundle of the short stories that are currently published, but the promise that the winner will get each of short stories I will publish this year.

  3. Twenty-five books! That's a lot! Good going, Sarah. I suppose you know what is going to happen in each of them? How long did it take to plan that many?

    1. I have a rough outline for each, but some of them will change, of that I am sure.

  4. I can't wait to graduate and have more time for writing! How old were you when you published your first book? Were you still juggling schoolwork and writing then? Do you have any advice for me? My goal is to publish my first book this year but I am a little behind in schoolwork ( I am homeschooled and in 9th grade).

  5. Hey Sarah!

    Whoa, that's a lot of books! That's awesome. :)
And whoa! I have a good excuse to ask questions! ;)
Do you have a favorite book or series that you've written? After you graduated, did you have a lot more time to write than you expected, or less? How many words to you typically write at one time? How many words do you write before you feel accomplished?
How many words do you typically put into each chapter? Do you set a number of chapters per book or do you write as it comes?
Which of the characters that you have written do you think is most like you?

Now I feel creepy, like a stalker or something, lol.
Can't wait to read more of your stories! God bless all of your work this year!
