Changing Destiny

Wow, time flies and it seems that time is flying faster than normal right now. Elections left me exhausted, and I had barely recovered from that when I got some exciting news.

During the past political season I worked on a local campaign. I enjoy working behind the scenes immensely. I doubt most people have a clue the amount of work that is takes to get someone elected, I know I didn’t until I worked the campaign. Even though I just showed up to volunteer, I talked to those in charge and was well aware what they were putting into it.

To make a long story short, we were blessed when the results came in and all our hard work had paid off; he guy I worked for won against the incumbent. I was so pleased and excited for him and was very blessed when he said he would like for me to work for him.

If you had asked me a year ago if I wanted to get a job, I would have said no, that just goes to show you that the destiny that you have in mind for yourself can be a lot different than the plans God has in mind for you. I am so thankful that God knows better than I do.

I will be working part time so I will continue to post at least three times a week and have plenty of time to keep up with blogs and writing. I will also try to keep up with my email and comments.
