Passing Time

7:29 AM

We have been busy here at my house the past couple of days. We are doing a lot of rearranging and putting away all of the toys for a future generation. It is almost as sad for me as it is for Mom to realize that we are all growing up and really don’t have any little kids any more. At the same time it is a little exciting to be able to have meaningful conversations and discussions with everyone in the family.

Sometimes I find myself almost crying because my childhood days are behind me, they were so much fun. Other times I can hardly wait to see what God has in store for me, and where my destiny will take me. I know that no matter what I feel, you can neither go back into the past nor forward in time, and the best thing that you can do is to treasure each moment and thank God for the time you have.

Today, we have to make a trip to town for a few things and then, after we are done with our shopping, we are going to work at the organic farm for a while. Right now we are getting onions and broccoli, but soon we will also be getting potatoes, zucchini and different kinds of squash (Yeah!).

What is going on in your life right now?

  1. Hi Sarah! I know just how you feel! We did that a few years back. It is so sad to see your childhood slip by and have to move on to another phase in life. That's why it is great when we can treasure the moments of today and look forward to tomorrow! =:D We kept all our little toys too and we get them out for kids that we babysit every once in awhile. it's fun to get them out and look at them and play with new little ones! =:)

I am working on a table runner this week for my mom for Mother's day! It is turning out to be a little more work than I thought. =:( But, it is turning out okay now...I think. =;) Not much else going on except writing posts! =:D

    Talk to you again soon!
    Love and Hugs and Blessings!
