A Sewing Day

I am sick and tired of being tired and sick! Okay, so I get that way really quick, but I can’t help it. I hate being sick! So today I am going to sew a bunch of doll clothes for my family and to sell. Maybe that will make me feel better.

I started sewing when I was about eight and haven’t stopped since. I love to make doll clothes even more than real dresses, and so, as my little sisters grow up and stop playing with dolls, I make them just to look at. I am going to try to sell some on my Etsy account and see if they do well.

I might get access to high speed internet tomorrow so that I can post picture of what I make. That is one of the things I hate about dial-up, you can’t post pictures anytime you want.

Do you like to sew? What do you like to sew the best?

    Hi Sarah! I like making doll clothes too! I don't make them anymore though because I don't have little sisters (except Jessica who is almost 20!). I don't really "like" sewing so much but I enjoy the outcome of my sewing. I sew more out of necessity. I can't find the styles of clothes I like, so I have to make them myself. I do enjoy it sometimes though. I just don't like trying out new patterns 9which is why I have 4 jumpers in the same style!).

    That is a shame that you can't put any pics. up. I was wondering why didn't put any up! =:) Sometimes technology is a pain! =;)

    I hope you can get a new hook up soon! That would be great!

    I love sewing. Handbags are my favorite. I love designing them. I don't really like sewing clothes, thought a lot of my clothes were sewn by me. I do like having something new to wear, though, and I like it even better if it is something that I made myself.
