Proverbs on Words

I recently was reminded how important the way I speak matters to God. Some unkind and discouraging speech patterns have slipped in. I started to read in my Bible about how God wants me to talk, and I found myself in the book of Proverbs. There is a lot in that book about how we are to talk. I started underlining.
It was at that point that I decided that it had been far too long since I had spent time purposefully memorizing Bible verses. I copied the verses that I had underlined onto index cards so I could easily carry them around
For the next few weeks, I am going to be sharing with you some of the verses that have meant something to me in my study and that I am trying to memorize.
