Z is for Zale

1:00 AM

Have you enjoyed this month? I know that I have. I don't think there is any more fitting way to end this series off, then by ending it with a bit about a the narrator of the Tales of Taelis series as his story will (if God allows me to complete the series) be the final installment a few years in the future.

Here are some things you might like to know about Zale:
~ He was raised by priests
~ His father went insane
~ His mother saved his life by hiding him
~ He is a trained warrior
~ He is much younger than most people realize
~ He is wise for his age, as he has been through much
~ He has an older brother
~ He does not wish to share his tale, because it is a sad one, but he will
~ While his pen is always busy, his mouth does not open often.

Now, to end everything off, you have a chance to win a signed copy of Brothers and Betrayal.

    1. Maiden Deborah,

It is indeed an honor to be here today. I have many women whom I am honored to call friends, but I suspect you are talking of a more personal relationship. I do indeed have a young lady who is in possession of my heart. Her story is amazing, and one I plan to tell some day, for it is one of virtue, godly character, and integrity.

    1. Maiden Eliza,
For things that happened so long ago, it is sometime very difficult to affix a date to it. But think of a time when royals lived in castles, Vikings ruled the seas, honorable knights defended honorable maidens, and the woods were supposed to be full of thieves and you have a good idea of when may tales take place.

I must say, I was surprised by Zale's picture - he IS a lot younger than I thought from reading! =)

  5. He does look extremely young compared to how he writes - he looks like a young teenager in that picture!

Zale, have you always liked writing? What's the first thing you wrote and how old were you?

    1. Maiden Erika,

I have enjoyed telling stories since I was very young but did not expect to write them down. My brother, during tragic events which I cannot bring myself to explain now, sent me from Taelis with the charge to write down the stories that were the heritage of our great country.
I was in my twenties when I started my endeavor, yet felt very old in the ways of the world. I only hope that I am able to complete the task of writing down the most important tales of my homeland.

  6. Awesome job on all the posts in April! I enjoyed them. :) Zale seems extremely interesting! A question... Um. Zale, which of the tales you are writing do think is your favorite? Or is it too difficult to chose? :)

    1. Maiden Deborah,
During my childhood, my next tale was my favorite, as it is about a group of children who saved our nation.
As I grew older, my favorite became the tale of a daring princess who was shipwrecked in Britain on her was to France.
Now, I think my favorite tale would be that of my brother. Though it is a sad tale, it is full of lessons that must be headed by the young. I only hope that I am able to pen all these noble tales.
