I think a lot of it is often impatience. We think that God's plan is the end of the journey, when we've succeeded, when we're the missionary in Africa, when we're a successful author, when we've converted the thousands.
But God's plan is as much the struggles along the way. God's plan is the journey. The failures alongside the successes. The losses alongside the wins. And that's uncomfortable. But God's perfection is made perfect in our imperfection, hard though it may be to remember.

While not the best formatted ebook, not an exhaustive history, I really enjoyed this little book. It was a bit of history, with lots of pictures and interesting facts. I look forward to reading more in this series.
